Baron Rabinovitsj, a comedy concert
Conceived by Monique Corvers and Gábor Tarján, a unique director-composer team that has been creating musical theater in the Netherlands for the past 15 years, Baron Rabinovitsj is a unique comedy concert with universal appeal. Tarján and Corvers have brought together an astounding group of musicians who not only expertly deliver an eccentric mix of classical, klezmer and 30's swing but also amaze and delight with their musical comedy. The world-famous Trans-Caucasian conductor Baron Rabinovitsj, when he's not falling over the podium, presides over the musical proceedings and high comedy allied to clever mime and highspirited music-making. The 60-minute show is reminiscent of the days of Leonard Bernstein and Victor Borge with Rabinovitsj's shock of white hair and his nearly-Russian garble, and with titles like, "Variations on a Salad Dressing" and "Intermission". The music is tonal, atonal, jazzy, classical, gypsy, tropical, fast, slow, everything. They have played all over the world including Broadway and Hong Kong and ArrivaDiva are proud to bring their skills to an ever widening audience.
